“The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.” Sydney J. Harris
How can I not resist a spa treat from Michelle. It was her blog anniversary blowout at My Mom Friday. I cancelled all appointments for that afternoon because I know I deserve a pamper “me” day after a morning’s workout. The best part of it all is having bonding moments with other mom bloggers.
I found out Nuat Thai is a franchise originally started in Cebu. It must be that good because they now have 27 branches in Cebu plus 20 in Luzon and Mindanao. In their website, Nuat Thai mention that their services are “unique in the sense that the massage is a dry massage applying acupressure to our body, relieving muscle aches and pains, anti-aging, improves blood circulation and relief of stress. These are just some of the benefits of Thai massage.”
I was in for a surprise. Our treat was getting both foot and body massage.
The foot massage was really relaxing that pretty soon I fell asleep. It must have been the hot pads placed behind my neck and lower back which added more comfort. The pressure placed on my toes and the massage on my tired legs relieved me of the aches I never knew I had. I’ve tried the famous Thai foot massage in Bangkok after every shopping spree but I never fell asleep in any of those instances.
I don’t really like heavy pressure during a massage so I chose Swedish with lavender as my choice of lotion. Unlike other spas, there is privacy within the curtain cubicle unlike other popular spas. The Swedish massage surely relaxed my tired leg muscles with the long and sweeping strokes. I never realized those aching muscles were there in the first place. I felt the “lactic acid” slowly being absorbed back to my muscles (I learned that in my Biochemistry class).
After that soothing foot and body massage, you wouldn’t want to feel stressed out over the bill. The prices are quite affordable. In fact, I had no idea on the pricing. I actually thought the price range was twice what is written below:
Nice to bond with all of you mommies, Martine of Dainty Mom, our host Michelle of My Mom Friday, Rone of Mothering Earthlings, Eliza of The Painter’s Wife, Neva of Manila Mommy, Jane of The Yogini In Manila, and Tina of Our Phenomenal Life.
I am coming back because I live so near Nuat Thai Libis. You might also want to pamper yourself at Nuat Thai Libis
