Deniece Milinette Cornejo is the girl who allegedly set up Vhong Navarro. In fact, Deniece Cornejo is the alleged victim of the attempted rape case. Vhong claims he is not a rapist.

A lawyer friend told me that “No charges were filed. The police blotter has no probative value from an evidentiary standpoint.”
I was wondering that if the allegations were true, why did the police let the alleged rapist (Vhong) go? My lawyer friend added : “The police, as a matter of policy, accepts all complaints & reports brought before it. But the basis for a valid complaint. comes from sworn affidavits by the complainant & the witnesses, not from a police blotter report. The blotter is, at best, hearsay”
If the attempted rape is true, then Denise Cornejo needs to pursue the case and clear her name on the role she played that Vhong was a victim of extortion. Was she really raped? If she was, she should have pursued the case instead of all this torture, blackmailing and sexual harassment against Vhong.
The girl also identifies a Lolo Rod who works for GMA 7.
The question is did GMA 7 pursue the attempted rape because of this connection? . Here is a statement from GMA 7.
This is to clarify that the complainant involved in the Vhong Navarro incident is not related to GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.
From the moment GMA News learned of the story, it sought the side of Vhong Navarro. Roño, his manager, gave GMA News a written statement, which was aired yesterday. Today, GMA News aired an interview with Navarro’s lawyer Atty Alma Mallonga. The report about the alleged attempted rape was based on the blotter filed at the Investigative Section of the Southern Police District where Vhong Navarro was taken after the incident. Other news organizations also reported it.
